ABOUT Dr. Mali Worme
Dr. Mali Worme received her medical degree from McGill University in 2014 where she was also a Gold medalist. She completed training in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto in 2017 and is now in her final year of Cardiology Residency, where she held the role of Chief Cardiology Resident.
She is completing her Master of Public Health at Harvard University and has an interest in Public Health initiatives to improve survival in patients with cardiac conditions, such as the GTA heart map challenge.
Dr. Worme received the Cardiac Arrhythmia Network of Canada Innovation award for her work on the GTA heart map challenge initiative and was also the recipient of the Sopman Humanitarian award in 2015 & 2017 for her clinical and academic excellence.
She is starting her subspecialty training this summer in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant, at Toronto General Hospital, and plans to pursue further training in Cardiac Imaging.
